Taking a break!

take a break

a break lets your body recover

your body is not made to be concentrated for an hour and a half

Did you know the CEO of Royco is right? This is also why we dare to take breaks regularly. A good conversation in the common areas often gives a new drive and new insights. These new insights are important to keep growing.

Because breaks are important, says the CEO of Royco ...

offiRent is not just a collection place for offices, but we dare to innovate. Working together or co-working ensures that we grow together. Do you have a good idea? Tell us, and together we will build a strong future.

Taking breaks leads to increased productivity. There is a misconception that people think skipping breaks results in more checkmarks on your to-do list. That is not true. The body needs regular rest throughout the workday.

If that rest does not come, you will notice that you become tired, you can no longer concentrate well and therefore perform less work. A (short) break gives your brain time to reset, so you can continue your work afterwards with full attention.

You know those short conversations by the coffee machine at work. It may seem like a waste of time, but those mini breaks make the difference. They ensure you stay sharp during your work or meeting.

You cannot keep the bow stretched for hours and as the day progresses your concentration fades. Such a chat by the coffee machine helps you relax, so you can then focus again on what you were doing.

In short, taking breaks is very important. Therefore, make it mandatory for yourself to take breaks during a workday! It results in more productivity, more job satisfaction and a happy employer. Moreover, you won’t come home exhausted with a full head and a tired body. You will have more energy left and time to do enjoyable things in the evenings. Taking breaks during work has many positive effects. You will see that it works.
